Zilliqa

- Zilliqa is the first public blockchain platform that implemented sharding. The mainnet is launched on 31 Jan 2019.- The code is open sourced and contributed at https://github.com/Zilliqa/Zilliqa- Developed application network communication protocol - Gossip Protocol to support extensive messaging required for pBFT / sharding architecture.- Designed and implemented **Improved** PBFT consensus protocol for finality and reduce block-time.- Redesigned joining/rejoining mechanism for various node types (miners, seeds, lookups and dsnodes) to allow syncing large blockchain state from AWS S3.- Design and implemented IP based whitelisting or Public-Key based whitelisting mechanism to allow exchange seeds to get onboarded and sync with network.- Continuous effort in improving performance, find and fix potential bugs and vulnerabilities and add stability to platform.- Lead the team and assist team members with any techincal issues/blockers.- Drive the blockchain upgrades/recovery of community testnet and mainnet.- Review the code changes from other developers.- Stress test the platform.
